Bakhtiar Khattak is a Pashto singer and broadcaster who has spent two decades performing for Pashtun audiences in Pakistan and across the Gulf, and who is chief executive of GSB Real Estate, a brokerage based in Ajman.
He was awarded Pakistan’s Tamgha-i-Imtiaz in 2024 for services to the arts. His international concert schedule dates back to 2005, with performances in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia, and he has worked inside the broadcast industry at AVT Khyber in Peshawar, Lemar TV in Afghanistan and Voice of America.
He produces and hosts The BK Show, a live music-and-conversation format staged for Pashtun audiences across the GCC, with branded staging, sponsors and distribution on YouTube and TikTok. A long-form interview series, The BK Podcast, is in preparation.
The commercially interesting part is the relationship between the two. GSB specialises in Ajman — where entry prices sit well below Dubai and Sharjah, and where a middle-income buyer’s first purchase is often realistic rather than aspirational — while also handling off-plan projects elsewhere in the UAE. That is the same community Khattak has performed to for twenty years, a large share of which has migrated to the Gulf and begun converting income into property.
Where a typical brokerage buys attention through portal listings and paid search, competing against hundreds of firms for the same clicks, Khattak already holds the channel that carries it. Vertical integration between a media property and the business it feeds is common in large firms and rare at this scale.
The same structure carries an exposure worth naming. Cultural trust depreciates quickly when it is misused, and a transaction that goes badly for someone who has followed him for two decades costs more than an ordinary customer complaint. Brokerage in the UAE is a regulated activity, and operating under his own public name raises the stakes on every deal.
Disclosure: GSB Real Estate is a client of INUBIZ Marketing, the agency owned by Pashtun Global’s founder. The relationship had no bearing on this profile or on its verification records.
