Pashtun Global Verified
A badge that means nothing is worse than no badge at all. Here is exactly what each one covers, what evidence sits behind it, and what it does not claim.
Verified separately, shown separately
We never merge these into a single mark. A profile can hold one, two or all three.
Identity verified
The person is who they say they are. We have matched the name, the photograph and the professional record against sources that exist independently of us.
Business verified
The company exists and the person holds the role claimed. Checked against a registration, a licence, a filing or an equivalent official record.
Achievement verified
A specific stated achievement has been checked against a source: a funding round, an acquisition, an export figure, a recognised award, a published result.
3 published profiles currently hold at least one badge. See them.
What counts as a source
Verification rests on documents that exist independently of the person being verified:
- Company registration
- Trade licence
- Corporate filing
- Official company website
- Independent media report
- Institutional record
- Professional reference
- Government or chamber record
- Audited accounts
- Other documentary evidence
Material supplied by the subject is a claim to be checked, not a source. A press release is not a filing. A profile page written by the subject is not an independent record.
What a badge does not mean
- It is not an endorsement, a recommendation, or a rating of the business.
- It is not a statement about creditworthiness, solvency or conduct.
- It is not permanent: checks carry a date, and stale evidence expires.
- It cannot be bought, and it is not bundled with membership or sponsorship.
When a badge is removed
A badge lapses automatically when its evidence expires and is not renewed. It is removed outright if we find the underlying claim was wrong, and the profile is corrected at the same time.
Requesting a check, a correction or removal
Members can request verification as part of their application. Anyone documented on this site can ask us to correct a detail, re-check a claim, or take their profile down. Write to us through the contact page and we will respond in writing.
